RAVEN

RAVEN, Rocketry and Aerospace Vehicle Engineering in Norrbotten, is the first student rocket project at LTU Kiruna Campus. The project’s goal is to design, build, test and launch a hybrid rocket using paraffin wax as fuel and liquid nitrous oxide as the oxidizer. This initiative provides students with hands-on experience in rocket engineering and its sub-systems. The current focus is on testing a small-scale engine, URSA-1, with the aim of developing a flight-ready, more powerful engine.
